Greetings, Friends –
Welcome to Issue 31 of MoonPark Review. We are extremely proud of the work we have to share with you this quarter. It’s a dark time in America, and it’s easy to become overwhelmed and paralyzed in both anger and fear. But throughout the course of human history, art and literature have been an escape, a salvation, and an instrument of protest. Here at MoonPark Review, we aim to carry on this tradition. We will not be deterred from publishing work that represents the full breadth of human diversity, and that speaks to the experience of all people on this globe, no matter their race, sexuality, or gender identity.
We are an open and welcoming space and we intend to stay that way.
Community is more important now than ever and we hope that when you open the pages of MoonPark Review you feel a part of something bigger than yourself, bigger than any individual. The stories and prose poems in this issue provide a powerful voice to the vitality of human connection.
Stay strong, friends. Stay connected. Enjoy MoonPark Review Issue 31.
