Dear Friends,

Summer is fading and here at MoonPark, the leaves will be turning soon. We find ourselves without much to say at the moment. So, we’ll be brief and give our contributors the floor. To kick things off, here is the MoonPark Review Issue 37 “found poem,” one line taken from each piece:

You will meet a man;
no use blaming the day,
the careful disagreement.
He smells like loam,
in a big leafy oak tree.
You say that’s a good thing.
Eventually you’ll be gone.
There is nothing more painful,
no curiosity in his gaze,
no explanation.
Every once in a while,
walk the winding path.
Keep her safe.

Peace,
Mary Lynn & Lesley Weston-Reed
