Greetings, Friends,

Spring is here and with the change of seasons, we are delighted to bring you another new issue of MoonPark Review. Looking back, it seems fortuitous that we established the tradition of publishing our issues on the solstices and equinoxes, as they represent life in perpetual change. No matter the season or the circumstance, change is coming — change is inevitable — dark will turn to light, heartbreak will mend, and in the broadest terms, life will prevail. (Or at least, that’s our optimistic take…)

Issue Seven of MoonPark Review is brimming with change. Change imagined, change feared, change desired, and change delivered. While often change is predictable, as in the lengthening and shortening of days, in art, and in love, change often takes us by surprise. It catches our breath, gives us pause, and brings us into a single moment, where everything is sharp and real and exudes its own raw beauty. At MoonPark Review we revel in crisp, beautiful prose pieces that deliver these singular moments from the author’s mind and heart onto the page. In this Issue, we are pleased to share thirteen new such gems, partnered with original artwork created specifically to accompany each story.

Happy Spring!

Love,
Mary Lynn Reed & Lesley C. Weston
